Carpet Cleaning in Lacey, WA

Grossbusters Carpet CleaningStep 1: Inspect all areas that will be cleaned. Take note of any spots, stains, spills, or areas of concern.

Step 2: Pre-vacuum with our Dyson all areas that will be cleaned. Pay special attention to severe traffic areas and areas with heavy soil and pet hair. Vacuum under furniture and along baseboards using the wand attachment.

Step 3: Pre-treat all areas of carpet using the appropriate cleaning agent(s) to loosen stubborn dirt, oil and soils.

Step 4: Agitate the fibers using our patented carpet rake or restoration brush heads on our Rotovac Powerwand, depending on the severity.

Step 5: Steam clean the carpet using our truck-mounted machine, producing 180-210 degree water. Depending on the type of carpet and the level of soil, we will either use our quad jet stainless steel scrub wand or our Rotovac Powerwand to carry out the cleaning. The dirty water is extracted outside into a 100 gallon recovery tank in our service van.

Step 6: Inspect the carpet for any spots or stains which did not respond to our steam cleaning. Treat any specialty spots with the appropriate chemicals at this time. If necessary, extract the chemicals from the carpet.

Step 7: Groom the carpet using our carpet rake. Once groomed, each fiber will be erected which will speed up the rate at which it dries.

Step 8: (Optional) Treat the carpet with 3M Scotchgard fabric protector. This chemical helps your carpet stay cleaner longer by repelling spills from becoming permanent stains.
